Ellen Schenk has been the co-anchor of Kansas City's Morning News on KMBZ for more than a decade. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Ellen's broadcasting career has included jobs as a disc jockey, talk show host and even a brief stint at Metro traffic, cut short by a most unfortunate air sickness incident. Ellen lives in Lee's Summit with her husband Kevin and their menagerie: two dogs, a cat and a horse. Her idea of a perfect day? Any day she can "sleep-in".
E.J. Becker has co-hosted Kansas City's Morning News with Ellen Schenk on Newsradio 980 KMBZ since May of 2007. E.J. is a native of Evansville, IN who has honed his radio skills at stations in Evansville, Ft. Myers, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. He also spent 7 years in Vienna, where he broadcast on FM4 (english anguage station in a german speaking country), sang opera, and met his wife Eva. One day, ask him about his appearance on Late Night with David Letterman! |
