The housing crisis is hitting home and Missouri Senator Kit Bond has been spending some time in Kansas City to talk about it. Bond is touting legislation that would authorize state housing finance agencies to issue billions in tax exempt bonds, using the proceeds to help refinance those subprime mortgages. Bond stopped at Northland Neighborhoods Inc. on Vivion Road Friday.
